At the Ripley Church of Christ we are “big on the Bible.” Everything we need to know about God, about life, about the hereafter, about knowing right from wrong….can be found in the Bible. God inspired it and it is the final authority for everything we do as Christians and as a church.

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the only Savior of the world, and have surrendered in obedience to Him as our Lord. Desiring to restore New Testament Christianity, we are not part of any sectarian group or denomination. We are an independent congregation seeking the unity of all Christians based upon the teachings of Scripture – “In faith, unity; in opinions, liberty; in all things, love.” We ascribe to no creed but Christ; no book but the Bible; no name but the Divine; no headquarters but heaven; and no rule of faith and practice but the New Testament. Where the Scriptures speak, we speak; where the Scriptures are silent, we are silent.
